Lexie Wang, MD, is one of the two American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) fellows to Paul Nassif, MD. Dr. Wang was born and raised in northern Virginia outside of Washington, DC. She completed her undergraduate education in three years at the University of California, San Diego, and stayed another year to work full-time in a research lab studying circadian rhythms. She then completed her medical education at the University of Virginia. She most recently finished residency training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center, where she published several academic papers and textbook chapters and earned accolades such as the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Resident Leadership Grant. Outside of medicine, Dr. Wang likes reading, playing board games, learning about wine, cats, and cross stitch.
